HI ladies,
what do you take to get rid of the wind in the tummy?
I avoid mandarin oranges because of the wind it induces. when the weather is very humid, I get bloated too :imconstipated:

Janet, try applying this on your tummy. Put a few drops on your palms, rub both palms together to get the heat and then put on your tummy for 10 seconds. Repeat for 5 times.

Hope this helps and hereby wishing you good health, prosperity for the Horse year :hugs: :snuggles:

Hi Janet, I'm a long-time sufferer of stomach wind and recently I found a very useful video on Dr Oz website on this topic. Go check it out. Apparently, women have a longer colon and we retain wind more easily than men.

Also some of this problem can be related to food allergies and even artificial sweeteners. Anyway, a recommended tip from the doctor guest on Dr Oz show said to chew fennel seeds (the ones that Indian restaurants provide after the meal) or take ginger-based chewables. I take ginger tea (unsweetened). Also I take probiotics and digestive enzymes.

I've avoided soy food recently as I found that my tummy bloated after eating soy products almost every single occasion.

Try Ginger Tea. When I had my gastroscopy, the nurse gave me ginger tea after the procedure because the doctor pumped in some air to help him see clearer. She said it will remove wind inside stomach.

ginger tea is nice :)

The medicated oil (feng you) or the one mentioned by Champion works for me.
After applying, lie flat on the bed with tummy facing the ceiling. The wind would come out...
When I eat overnight chicken, I tend to get wind in stomach.

Unsure if it is effective but works for me, the packet of instant ginger tea can be purchased from supermarkets.
Usually I pour boiling water into it and drink while warm.

Can DIY , just cut a few slices of ginger and add hot water.

I used Yu Yee Oil for my kids since they were babies. I don't think its really effective for adults?
