Would one's own sweat caused rashes? My child suddenly developed the allergy which we have no clue the root cause, but it happened most of the time when he perspired.

Doctor prescribed atarax and stereroid cream while we wait for our appointment at NSC.

Eczema problem. Best way is to get a Rainbow vaccum cleaner and clean your house and get rid of dust mites. Vaccum dust mites out from mattress and soft toys and pillows. Use Physiogel AI cream and Physiogel cleaner. Can only control eczema, cannot cure eczema. As long as never flare up, it is considered eczema under control. I'm talking about my child's experience. There is one type of steroid we use. Only for once in a blue moon flare up that we have to use the steroid called Fucicort. Go google it. I bought from Thailand. Same steroid. In Singapore it is so expensive to get Fucicort from specialist.

Fucicort is basically Betamethasone (given freely by GPs and NSC) plus antibiotic. Not sure if you need antibiotic each time there is a flare.

I strongly believe good Gut Health will cure eczema.....

Be careful of Steroid induced Eczema.....

Hi, anybody can kindly recommend a good experienced doctor for eczema in Singapore? either Western or traditional Chinese doctor. We have gone through quite many doctors, but only given all kinds of cream/ointment, never come across a doctor offering an internal treatment, like digestive system checking and improvement, which I believe is the big help for eczema. Thanks a lot !

Hi yymm03,
We only fed him soy probiotics like 6 mths to 1 year n his skin jus clear up on its own when he was close to 8 years old. That was the time that he jus started learning swiming too. Maybe the swiming helps too. We didn't fed him extra medical herbs or stuff like that, he's basically a snack junkie like me n loves his meat from young. Nowadays I didn't feed him any probiotics n even cream him. Back then he was so frustrated by the itch, he even pull out his hair in chunks then. It's like a nightmare that finally gone. So jia you everyone !

Hello, I'm a newbie here. These eczema topic got my attention. As I suffered eczema too during my 20's. I used to apply steroid creams too. And yes the itchiness healed eventually after so many days of applying it. However, my eczema keeps coming back. Until I remember what my mom was doing when I was younger, during my childhood days. She used to apply coconut oil (the one she cooked) whenever I've got cuts or burns, or even when I have flu, she's applying it to my back. And all these cuts as healed faster. And that's why I tried again the coconut oil with my itchiness. And these coconurture eczema flare relief oil (http://www.coconurture.com/shop/coco-n- ... etail.html). It really works with me. I have a sensitive skin and these allergies, it runs in our blood. and these coconurture eczema oil is a friendly oil for me.
