with so many foodie threads over at tuckshop, maybe we should have a thread over here to promote healthy living.

come share what did you do for your health today?

no act is too small.

it can be as 'small' as taking the stairs instead of escalator, eating 1 less stick of satay than normal, eating an egg without egg-yolk, taking wholemeal bread over white bread etc to as 'big' as running a iron-man race.

Ytd I climbed the staircase from level 1 to level 6 ONCE. My boys were surprised to see me back so soon. Before I slept last time, I stretched for almost 30 minutes.

Today's pre-lunch, my P6 boy tried to eat at Yoshinoya. He went for his lessons and could not finish the set meal. I polished up whatever was left, except the dessert: mix fruit in thick syrup.

Today's lunch at BBQ Chicken, I ate a mashed potato and shared the coleslaw with my P6 boy.

No ice cream for both of us today.

I went for a SLOW jog on the tread mill today, had salad for lunch and ordered 1 less dish during dinner.

I did that as part of my work many yrs back and suffer irreparable knee damage.

Salad for lunch? You won't get hungry?

I had a sandwich and a tart and I'm starving now. 10 more minutes to reach home :cry:

I have to considering all the junk that my DH buys and all our Fastfood meals.

If you notice, I try to have a healthy breakfast and lunch because dinner might be Fastfood on any day.
