I am seriously considering getting one cos dd & ds are suffering from itches/rashes even though I change their bedsheets often. Even I who don't usually suffer from sensitive skins was starting to get itches on my legs.

Am contemplating getting Atocare because it uses Hepa filter & fitted with UV light. Also, they have doorstep warranty repair service. Anyone using this or other brands?

I'm using this vaccum cleaner -> http://www.delphin.sg/. It's very effective against bed bug and dustmites.

Heard about delphin from other forums. It's very ex. But I am not really convinced that I need to pay such a high price to effectively remove dustmites. Hence, would like to explore the cheaper options first.

Anyone else using anti-dustmite cleaners?

I have been using Raycop (from Korea) for past one year. Bought from Harvey about $300+.

Not sure whether it is effective but kids sinus and running nose have stopped though. I changed bedsheets, blankets & pillow covers every fortnightly & dust-vacuum every month.

I think for us staying in HDB, this is the next best alternative, as we are not able to bring the mattress & pillows out to sun.

May I know how long is the local warranty for Raycop & is it a door-step warranty? Also, is this with Hepa filter & UV light?

I try to answer, sorry typical man-shopping mentality (grab & go) and I am those who will only go dig invoices to check warranty validity when thing break down:
- I think 1 year local warranty
- door-step warranty, I do not think so for $300
- Hepa filter, not sure what is it
- UV light (this I can answer) definitely yes & comes with strong vibrator

I'm also using raycop. Good enough. I also cover the kids' bed with a anti-dust mite cover. It helps a lot. Such covers can be purchased from those stores that sell anti dustmites products. I got mine from taka but that was quite some time back.

Yes raycop has hepa filter and uv rays.

Get rid of carpets and soft toys in the house. Check that your mattress is not too old. After 10 years should change. Also change pillows or bolsters, esp if they are getting heavier. Wash curtains regularly.

I am also using raycop, n pretty satisfied with the result

Seems like many using Raycop.

Anyway, have arranged for a demo for atocare. Hopefully, it is effective...
