Dentures vs Bridge vs Implant

Hi,
My husband had a RCT done few years back. He now has pain there, doctor suggests to go for Denture or Implant. Could anyone advise what actually happens for Dentures, Bridge and Implant. In terms of cost and pain involved which is better. For implant, the tooth has to be removed, will the implant be done immediately or after how many days. Whats the healing time.
