My son have running nose quite often. Taking medicine can't resolve the issue.

Any advise?

best option is to go for a medical checkup.

Most probably it is due to nose sensitivity to perhaps dust or other pollutants.

Besides seeking medication, do eat more fruits esp oranges to increase Vit C intake.

Dd and I have sensitve noses too; whenever we sit in the air-con room, the next morning, our noses drip almost non-stop while dh is perfectly ok.

I agree it may be due to sensitivity. My DS has that as well. After consultation with a few doctors as well as TCM, we were advised to leave it and control it with medication only if it gives him a lot of discomfort.
BTW, just to correct that it should be RUNNY Nose. :)

Hi,

I have bad runny nose too esp in the early am like 3,4 am ...can drip and blow all the way till 5,6am.... imagine my there goes my sleep!!!

One good remedy my aunty recommended is the PEPPERMINT leave!!!
She has a pot and pluck some leaves for me... instruct me to pan fried (NO oil hor)the leave....then paste it on forehead!!... after 10mins my nose no more "running"

I have yet to go and buy pot, soil so that can pluck some part of her plant and bring home!!! My DS has bad runny nose too...so am going to try this FREE and natural method...

So...KS parents pls try too.!!!

Hmmm.. I used to have a bad case of runny nose... on a daily basis.

Everyday, when I wake up, my nose will start to itch and start dripping.
This happened when I was in primary school and lasted till late teens.
Never took and medication or seek consultation from doc.

Seem to have outgrown it but will still get it every now & then..
Especially if the aircon of the room is too cold or if the environment is dusty,

Could have just been due to allergies. :celebrate:
