All about Frizzy Hair

Postby sleepy » Tue Sep 02, 2014 8:09 am

Hi all

My dd has frizzy hair. So wondering how to help her control her lion mane.

I've changed her shampoo and also bought conditioner.

What about hair brush? Which type of brush is suitable for smoothing out frizzy hair?

Also, which kind of hair style is suitable for girls with very thick and frizzy hair? If I let her hair grow longer, would the weight help with the frizz?

Right now her usual stylist layered her hair because she has extremely thick hair. But layering seem to enhance the frizzy-ness

Her friend did rebond to fix the frizz but I'm reluctant to go that route.

My gal has such hairs since sec 1....sometimes look nice but mostly :scared: :yikes:

No time in the morning to blow her hair straight. Crimper is not too bad but only if you have plenty of time to spare.

Did soft rebonding ...no regrets. More than 6 months and hair is still straight.

I don't see any damage to the hair.

my girl has thin hair but with natural curls (not sure if you would consider that frizzy). We kept her hair long but her hair is always tied and gel applied to control the frizziness. It helps to keep the neat appearance when going to school but after school, the gel usually couldn't hold the curls anymore.

Try Phyto anti frizz shampoo and apply coconut oil but smells like nasi lemak. He he.

Coconut oil can be edible ones from GNC.

I recently cut my hair to above shoulder length w/o rebonding. The hairstylists I went to seek opinion advised me to either keep long n rebond or cut real short.

I chose not to take their advice, opt for no layering.

After I wash, I apply a leave-on serum n blow dry from top to end with a hair dryer, warm mode, followed by cool mode.

Bcos of the thickness, I dun get rebond effect, but the frizziness is well controlled, IMO.
