Recently it was on tv, about singaporeans getting diabetic at an alarming rate. It seemed scary to me as I watched the stats being announced. If I remembered correctly, currently there are about 400k suffering from diabetes and in a few years time, people affected in singapore will grow to 1mil.

The tracker is important for me to keep track of my heartbeat while I jog, it also acts as a pacer for me. I tend to go too fast and get winded in no time at all. My heart rate also tend to rise very high very quickly even if I don't feel it. So the tracker helps me keep it in check.
What's the name of the app? I currently run in the gym, the few mornings that I still run cos I'm getting lazy  , so the treadmill sets the pace for me. But it can't track heartbeat cos my running speed makes it impossible to hold on the monitor. So your app sounds good.
