Full health screening for ladies

Postby kaisuparents » Fri Apr 29, 2016 5:14 pm

Hi,
Where can I get a full health check done. I am also looking to check for hormonal imbalance. Any special packages/promotions.

Thanks.

Most hospitals have such screenings. Just look at their websites. SATA and polyclinics also have some packages.

think this is the best promotion so far:

http://minmed.sg/happy-womens-day/

I finished mine recently. Was told promo ends 31 May 16.

If wanna screen hormone, pay additional.

I chose pelvis and abdomen scans and paid additional $50 for a mammogram.

Good deal!

Would anyone recommend going for a full MRI to screen for problems?

Any more suggestions on health screening packages?

I saw some in paragon but not that comprehensive.....

The doc may be in a better position to advise if a full MRI is necessary.

Do you have any past issues that would indicate that an MRI is necessary, and a full one at that? I personally feel that over-screening can lead to more problems - too many suspected issues, too much anxiety, more unnecessary follow-ups, more radiation exposure etc. You can sign up for a more basic checkup first, and the go for additional screening if the doctors recommend it.
