If it's tasteless, it's probably due to the quality of the coffee rather than the quantity of sugar. In fact, with less sugar, you the coffee should stand out more?
Yes, it could be the brand

Anyway, I hope with my regular swimming can help to fight diabetes and so I can continue with my daily cup of 3in1 coffee without much guilt.

Have not had my morning coffee for almost a week now, missing its fragrance.
Under some stress this period, hand trembling sometimes.
Heartbeat also a little faster than usual days.
So backing away from coffee for this period.

Better cut down on Dou Hua. The sugar content is high. Unless take without the syrup. i don't snack but at least one packet of instant noodle and fast food a week.

Taking without syrup is like eating silken tofu from the supermarket chiller

i try not to take too much syrup. to eat it without the syrup is really tasteless.
when i buy Mr Bean soya milk, i ask for 75% sugar. cutting down to 50% is challenging.

Like I said before, it's still more about eating in moderation than what goes into the food.
I take fewer than a handful of 豆花a year. Same for fast food. I use instant noodle kosong to go with dishes with sauce or gravy or make my own 'dry' noodle.
Generally I donch see them as my enemies

I think the issue is more with the younger gen, ie, the KOI, frappe and all the sweetened variety of tea everywhere. It's a habit we didn't have to deal with. How often did we take an ice kacang or Chendol when we were that age.
