my maternal n paternal all no diabetics n never take brown rice. High blood pressure n cholesterol coz some oldies like to eat fatty meats since young. If there is family history , good to manage the
rice, drinks, salt diet . Go out and exercise more. Eat greens n proteins more , carbo minimal.
Genes aside, it's still good to avoid as diabetes leads to heart diseases, stroke, loss of eyesight or limbs.
