Hi all,

Do you guys all believe in supplements? I ask out of curiousity because yours truly here is always feeling tired but recently, I started taking some supplements and I do find it helps.

Am starting this thread here so that we can share with one another whats good and what works.

Anybody?

I do take some supplements but not in regular basis.
I believe that if we are having balanced diet, the supplements are unnecessary.

Juz my 2cents. :D

Yes I agree with BlurBee...

I typically consume for a period and then go natural...same way I manage my kid. I don't believe in lifetime consumption unless that is elixir pill!

It has helped my DD1 stay healthy and recover faster if she's ill. When I stopped taking Probiotics during pregnancy, the pregnancy hormones on top of my already problematic bowel system gave me lots of gas and almost got constipated many times. The moment I started taking them again after delivery, my bowels returned to normal. Kinda difficult for me to go natural in this case as my digestive and bowel systems already gave me problems since many years ago.

okay I been on wheatgrass now because doc says that I have high cholestrol. Also, take this daily beverage that is a mix of fruits and vegetables called ISO7. Supposed to contain a lot of antioxidants. Not cheap tho. costs me about $150 a month. But I think I do feel more engergised and calmer.

Previously, like most of you, I also do not believe in taking supplements as I also felt that as long as we exercise and eat a balanced diet, we should be able to maintain our health. But despite all these good practices, I still have knee pain, triggered finger (which I had steriod jabs thrice to relieve the pain), migraine, oily scalp + a little hair loss and insomnia, lethargy and many mysterious small growths on my chest.
A few months ago, a friend of mine introduced me to a product call CAM (calmodulin). She said it could help me with all the syptoms I had. At first I was sceptical about all the benefits it claimed but after trying the first box, I felt like I was having a new lease of energy. I continued taking the product until now and I am now free of all the ailments stated above. So I do believe certain supplements can really help us.
