The skills of the masters there are not as good as what I can get from China but good enough to let me feet feel ‘refreshed’ and clean (look more like a pair of woman’s feet instead of man’s!!).
Hi insider, care to share where is Qian Zu Ge located? For me I was very active when I was in JC till late 20s, which required me to jump a lot and move around intensely which resulted in my feet bearing the brunt of it.

I am contemplating going for a foot spa to remove hardened skin from my feet, what you have described would it be the same as what they do at foot spas?

Thanks.

Never knew such specialisd service exists and I think I need it too.

I usually go regularly to pedicure to keep these problems away but think I should try this one that you have mentioned, can share? Thanks in advance, insider.

Hahaha thanks insider... Mine is not that bad as I usually file away the hardened skin at least once a week, but would be good if I can feel baby smooth skin on my feet again

Will check out the website you attached :)

Will they be pushy for other services or need to sign up packages etc?

i'm one who is too shy to go feet spa or pedicure cos don't want to scare people with my horrible feet!

Must call to make booking with Master No. 1 if you are going coz he is very popular... Your first experience is better to be in his hands... Bring hubby along if can. Men usually will enjoy this...
Ok I remember no. 1, you are right my dh likes such treatment... kids allowed right?

Kids allowed to sit aside and probably read a book but better if can don't bring coz can be boring for them... (I assume you know kids not so advisable to have foot reflex unless it's by a very experienced at least semi-medical trained foot reflex master else may do more harm than good...)
Yes no reflexology for kids, just accompanying only.

Errr...this master can't really produce the results that I once obtained in Guangzhou. Skin can be visibly 'polished' but not very close to baby skin... (heeheehee... that's the best I can find so far and am still combing...)

If you are filing your skin at home, try to put a piece of wet cloth under your feet to collect the 'skin dust' else this dust may fly to somewhere and breed you more dustmites... (very important thing to do for people who are filing skin at home...) Master there not really file your skin, they use a gadget to 'cut' / 'peel' away the dead skin and the amount of skin that subsequently get cut off is amazing! (told you mine is a few tens of grams and if you ever been there, share with me an estimate of yours. hahaha...)
Hmmm ok ok.. .Thanks for setting my expectations straight ;) I usually file the skin with my feet in the bathtub, after that just use water to flush away down the drain.

Do they soak your feet first till it's soft before they start scrapping away? I told wife abt it cos she needs it more than I do, but she says she dun like people to touch her feet... Guess I will make a trip there alone :)

Wif my constant filing dun think mine have tens of grams lar... But I do have one patch at the bottom of my right sole which I hope to get rid of

I'd tried Foot masks a few weeks back. The product is Milky Foot and I got it from Watson's. It is $39 a pair, a pair of plastic socks with essence. Just wear the masks, put on another pair of socks for better mobility and contact with the essence. Wait for a while and then wash clean. After a few days, the dead skin starts pealing off and ta...da... baby soft skin on the feet:))) It is quite expensive compare with pedicure but the peeling of dead skin is much thorough. I'll probably will use it again to save time.
