actually how devastating it can be to the kids? I've been trying to find the psychological impact. Still can't understand.
What kind of results are you looking for? I don think it can be quantified. I went through this rough time myself and it was sad. I tell myself no point regretting because it has already happened. It is difficult for my 2 children as they are young when everything happened. They will miss their missing parent and they will wonder why their family is not the same as their classmates.

There is the bad impact but I also hope they see the possibility that it is possible to be strong as individuals. Things are not easy but we can learn to get by.

My friend asked advise from me about getting a divorce or not. She was really tired with all their quarrels and she wants to at least be happy. For me, divorce is not an easy decision where you just ask a friend if you would go for it. Take time to at least talk to your partner, have some alone time and think things over. Sometimes, making a quick decision will lead to regrets.

Does she have kids? If kids are involved, it'll be more challenging. Tell her to visit a counsellor before making such decisions.

Yes she has 2 kids.. it really is challenging for her. I already told her to visit a counselor. I will check on her next time. I'm hoping she can cope up with all of this ...
