The Power of motherhood

Successful parenting is founded on successful relationships between spouses and relatives. We must not neglect our spouse while we focus our attention on grooming our children to become the best they can be. Discuss relationship issues here.

The Power of motherhood

It is so amazing as women we have to juggle so many things in our life. Having loving relationship with our husband, taking care of children, homemaking. Women are made so capable of multitasking, do you agree?
I have been a homemaker for six years already, can't believe it. I really thank God that I learnt how to manage my home through the Christian series "the power of motherhood" book.
What about you? What is your driving force in being a supermom?

I think my driving force comes from my only child. I can't afford to make mistakes in parenting that would make me regret cos I don't have a chance to make it right on another child. This is also why I gave up my career to be a SAHM so I can nurture my child personally.

Super mummies are the "Glue" that keep the smallest details in the
home or DH/DD/DS intact.....The Happy Family is the happy child
and the happy Daddy and Mummy.

This is our biggest motivation, We Mum did it again!

Watch this video ....I am the MOM... :please:

I have been lucky to have trust worthy maids so far.
My job is flexible so I spent lots of time with the kids when they were young and was yet able to work, and that laid the foundation for the bond between us. Now that they are bigger, they don't need me to be constantly around and I am able to work more. But as long as they know that I will be there when they need me, they are happy.
Eg when DD2 had PSLE oral exams later in the day (had to report in school at 9:30 am, cannot be earlier), she wanted to me bring her to school so I took leave that 2 days to specially bring her to school.
I believe that once the foundation has been laid, especially in the early years, the rest is auto- pilot!

I have just started my power of motherhood christian sessions this morning. Been so good hearing and being enriched by mothers who desire to balance mothering, being a wife and homemaking. I feel charged. Sometimes women just need to come together and voice our "struggles/ victories" that we experienced at home :)

Hi Susan, so you met the first batch already? :)

Do you all introduce each other with your nicks or real names?

just for all the periods, the cramps, the discomforts we have had our whole lives to have the possibility of bringing any child to this world, we are already greatness in itself. *salutes all mothers!* :DD
