KiasuParents - Parenting in Singapore

Heya, I am a newbie. My husband is completely addited to his phone. He wakes up early and sleeps late to play with it, and even in bed, in the middle of the night. And thats not mentioning throughout the whole day, any chance he gets. He gets irritated if he needs to look after our little boy for more than half an hour, and even if he does, he will still be playing his hp! We are both ft working parents with no maid, except a part time helper on one morning. Most of the time, I end up having to retrieve mylittle boy from trouble because he had wandered off when daddy was supposed to watch him. And no money for guessing what daddy was doing at that time! Arugh! How do you deal with this? I have mentioned before but unless I kick a super big fuss, its him and his beloved phone all day long!

is your hubby a young man in his 20s? i guess such men are like that cos we live in an IT era... i also play games sometimes when my hubby feeds my DD or is around to help look after her.

Haha, he's young at heart, playing games all day, no he's 30+ .
It would be cute if it didn't mean my son occasionally helping me to umm... Overfeed the fish our sell newspapers to the garang guni.
My kid is 2, going on 16, and into everything, including operating printers, computers and washing machines. And oh yes, toys.

May I know what kind of game?
some games that needed to go often so better stop playing.
Some games that you can show off ur intelligence like jewelgame .... it make him to run after it.So better stop playing by himself or u remove the game package,he may beat u in anger as he so addicted.So firstly talk to him,ask him some qns like does it help u in anyway?
Why are u playing this?
If it is hobby choose a game and make sure not necessarily go everyday.
If you can't control you so better to stop for the baby.

I did like that,I really can't control myself so I remove the game from my computer.Then for my son.Luckily my DH not game addictor but he live on his own world.Now better.
