I have lots of friends, but it would be difficult to arrange them in accordance to "friendship". I guess my "best" friend would be my wife, with my family a close 2nd. I think the best definition of a close friend is someone whom you can get angry with at one moment and best buddies at other times, without over worrying about the long term impact of the bad times.

I used to have bestfriends when I was at a younger age, now that I'm a family man and is older, my best friend is now my wife. I still have some close friends with me but unlike my wife I can share all my problems with her be it small or big. I value genuine friendship a lot and those who were with me through thick and thin not just through happiness. I make sure to also communicate with them and make some time for them too..

Our parents are great friends. We were best friends even before we started school.

This is 100% true. Some are friends only in your happiest but when your at your darkest, you will know who are true and who are not. :smile:

Agreed. Getting more difficult to arrange meet ups as we grow older too...
