This is true ha ha! As you grow older you'll never going to find a new bestfriend aside from your partner. Bestfriends usually grow when you're together doing silly things while young!

Agree! Hard to get really good friends when older. Luckily my mother gifted me my best friends for life, my sisters . Best gift ever.

I have a best friend too. He was my classmate since P5 and his parents are also friends with my parents too. He is intelligent by a shy teenage boy when we are still studying. He is living in Paris now and a happy married man. We still check each other from time to time and he is planning to spend the holidays in our hometown.

I think having a best friend is not really necessary because there are people who find it hard to trust others and prefer to have no one to cheer them up. Luckily, I am not that type of person. My best friend, Sophia, and I we've been best of friends since were are P3.

I wish I can say my best friend is my spouse. But sadly, it is not. I do envy people who sincerely think their best friends are their spouses though.
Maybe it is just me, but since I was small, I never cared about having many close friends. I am the type who dislikes small talk. I see it as superficial and waste of time. Now I think I have only 2 best friends. And a few friends. The rest are just acquaintances.

Having a best friend is essential for me because they serve as your sister or brother from another mother. The person that acts as your sponge and listens when you vent out all the things that make you angry. Giggles with you when you are happy. And above all, always there for you no matter what happens. This makes me more wanted to see my best friend who's already in Greece.

Personally, I don't think it's necessary to have a best friend... Rather, it's important to have at least 1 friend whom you can trust will always be there for you whenever you need him/her and vice versa
