Hi,

My hubby's bd is round the corner and he is the type who feels that he has everything and he don't need anything....

Looking at him, it appears to be true. He definitely don't need accessories (watch, wallet, belt, shoes, clothes, etc....). He already got his Wii and PSP. What else??? :?

Hoping to get some ideas (particularly from Men's POV) on what to buy for him that will be a pleasant surprise.

A weekend getaway just for the 2 of you. For R & R, can go batam Holiday Inn, nice resort and great spa. If u interested, can PM me for details (er, I don't work for them, just that i m in their database for promos).
If got nice budget, how about a weekend cruise. If he is the clubbing type, can organise a party in a club for him. One of our friends book the entire club for her hub's 40th b'day bash. Another book a boat for a nice evening out at sea with bbq dinner onboard.
If he is the family oriented type, how about a bbq/dinner party potluck style, so that you don't hv to prepare everything. If he is the homely and "nuah"(slothy) type, how about sending kiddies away and pamper him for a whole day at home.
If really cannot think of something, make your own special gift coupon that he can redeem whenever he wants it.

Most importantly, hv fun with him/family. :celebrate:

If he's the type that likes to spend time at home, why not cooking him a nice dinner and before he comes home from office (if its a working day) you arrange the table with candle light and wine off all lights, cook a nice meal and wait for him to open the door and jump and say HAPPY BDAY Darling !!! :)

Or else... this is what I did for my hubby's bday before having kids. I booked a hotel room for one night and told him that we have a office function to attend. Then when he comes there, take him to the room and surprise him.

Buds, you are definitely getting hornier :rotflmao:

Well... on his BD, he is actually driving back from Genting. Immediately after that, I will be off to Shanghai for the week hence, probably we can't do a weekend escape

Give him a b'day gift coupon that he can redeem later. Or a booklet of SE**Y love coupons that you can both enjoy when you can get away for a weekend. It would be fun to make it yourself, just think sexy and naughty thoughts..... I make some for one of my girlfriend's single farewell party and it was a hit. The girlfriends now make them for their special occasions. Erm, I can PM you some suggestions as to what to write in them......just drop me a line    Or Buds can sure come up with some really saucy suggestions, like that vibrator ....

Wait... It thought this is supposed for HIS birthday, not HER birthday?

I can think of hundreds of non-saucy things I want... a 16gb iPhone, a Sanyo XACTI HD2000 video camera, a cool UMID palmtop computer that runs Win XP, blah blah. And only the iPhone vibrates. Does that count?

Hi MMM,

From a guy's point of view, and I probably feels the same as your husband (that he has almost everything necessary), it can be a pleasant surprise if he can receive something not materialistic. I think it'd be quite nice if he can receive a thumb drive that stores loads of photos and moments of your family down the times that you could gather. It's something that you'd probably need to put in some effort to search and collect, and compile. You know, guys are generally not into keeping the photos or at least if we do, we don't compile them nicely. Sorry, if it sounds uncool..
