Set a little target. My last year's new year resolution was to go for pedi regularly (medi not practical at all as I need to do household chores like scrubbing toilet, washing, cooking etc). I hit the target - being going to a pedi place about once every four weeks since last year.

This year, my resolution is to go for teeth whitening (ah.... My weakness for kopi) and regular facial. Have not been for facial since married..... Haiz... Wats stopping me? My choice of facial chain is not conveniently located to fit my schedule....

Things will get better as the kid grows older.
My kids will be in P3 and P5 next year and I'm still wearing running shoes :rotflmao:

I've a pair of 3 inch heels bought for CNY last year. I think only wore twice. Impractical and cause knee pain :slapshead:

Long gone are those days when I ran after buses with my 3 inch heels

Hubby & I attending Rumba box & Salsa dances, Kickboxing & ABT together.
So he is my exercise kaki too.

And I fell in love with Zumba fitness. Doing zumba twice a week. Highly recommended!
Circuit training in gym is the most boring among all these exercises. Rather repetitive and I don't find it that effective in losing weight, only good for toning

My exercise regime:
Zumba fitness (1 hour) - 2x a week
Circuit training in gym (1 hour 15 mins) - 3x to 5x a week
Rumba box & Salsa dances (1.5 hour) - 1x
Kickboxing & abt (2 hours) - 1x
wah piang... Sleepy, your ID sala la.... U shd renamed yourself as "I so onz" joke joke.

I really take my hat off your exercise regime! :faint:
Wow....Sleepy, u are really on in yr excercise regime.....

I always envy people with nice feet and can wear heels. I have very severe case of bunions, probably genetics... and it is most painful for me to wear heels. Not just the bunion, but the ankle, the legs and back would also get quite painful. The doctor's advice is that I can only wear Crocs (the big fat head one), or the likes of Birkinstocks. So here I am, wearing my Birkies to work everyday - with whatever choice of pretty or not so pretty dress. A perfect mismatch... but then, what can I do? I keep a pair of heels at the office but I always end up cursing myself after wearing it.

Actually, I don't have nice feet either. My feet are wide and most of the nicer shoes are rather narrow so what do I do? On the occasions I wear heels, I squeeze my feet in. Then when I get home, my feet are all red and swollen.

Me too - don't have nice feet. Mine are a little broader than most folks' so my choice of Heels are limited. But I find that itto and Otto, Americaya and urs have broader shoes suitable for me.

I have been told to give up on wearing close-up shoes, period. Except for the occassional exercise/walking I can wear sports shoes/sneakers - but very selective shape/cuttings only. I know it is bad when my daughter commented "Why mama's big toe looks like it wants to jump on the second toe?".... Yup... that bad. That's when I bought 2 pairs of Birkies and said goodbye to my (flat!) closed-up shoes...

After giving birth to 2 kids, body shape has totally changed... I've got wider ribcage (coz bb like to rest high up), wider hips, saggy boobs & a tummy pouch. Even after back to pre-pregnancy weight, still cant change these. :( I've never been actively exercising so not much differences.

But as I age I try to spend a bit more effort on my skin (which has never been good) & try to eat more healthily. I still go for facials at least once every 4-5weeks to pamper myself.

As for heels, I love heels! I've got broad & big feet but thankfully can find high heel designs to fit comfortably. I wear heels to work everyday but will change into slippers at my desk, so I don't kill my feet. I wear crocs on weekends if i have to chase after my notti kids.

I've only one kid and my body is already not the same as before. Like you said, even though my weight is the same as pre-preg, my body shape has changed :( BTW, I've got broad feet, where do you get your heels from??
