I am sure SMRT will pull up their socks as everybody is watching them now.

SMRT has been breaking down so frequently until it has become a norm. Transport minister blames reporters for reporting news...CEO even better, don't have to show up and still sitting comfortably in his office. If it is private sector, he would have been sacked long time ago.

I don't remember the MRT breaking down that often in the late 1990s to 2010 until 2011 when it had that big breakdown.I only came to Singapore from Malaysia in 2000.

I dont think it is that reliable anymore. Some people said the previous CEO caused the problems of the current days.Felt sorry for the commuters who used it to travel in their everyday life.

Started raining again.

Sleep tight, everyone.

Is the limit 100 min buffet still in force?

Dinner is 90 mins.
No idea for lunch.

I always feel that Sg can be what it is today due to political stability, unlike other countries which govt changes n policies got disrupted.

No doubt we still have many issues. Think about jumping out of the pan into the fire if we lose stability.

When our children misbehave, do we change another set of children?

Our children also gripe about us at times. Do they get to change parents too?

The other day a tree fell onto the road at Sixth Ave, how many people got out their saloon cars to help move the tree in the rain? How many people sat into the comfort of their cars complaining why LTA yet to come, or why NParks failed to identify the sick tree?

Jennifer
For Suki ya in BPP, the lunch at $13.90++ is 60min as the start time is written in the bill. If one wants 80min, the cost if $14.90++
Indeed here s a pressure to watch the time while eating

For the flooding of tunnels, isn’t the VP of the relevant section/dept being replaced? What I feel is the pain is inflicted on the lower but the upper is still living in the ivory tower

There are always people who are complacent. Which level of social standing these people are is irrelevant.
