Already have my first Lohei Yusheng dinner this year a few days ago.

At Cold Storage, i saw tubs of Yusheng ingredients (no salmon) meant for a few pax are selling about $10+. Am thinking of buying one, add some sashimi, then can lohei at home comfortably.

Yes, good idea, eating outside is so expensive this year and it cost me $126 for my lohei dinner at Furama Hotel

Online buying..no fun. No cny songs. Let me bring down my last yr deco for dusting. Was thinking of bringing some stuff to relatives place..so decided on cny eve better as 1st day is vegetarian day..else will be 2nd day. Hope can buy some new clothes for us.

Last month, I attended a meetup event and met a young lady organiser called "Yi". She is very friendly and has met most of my group members before and therefore everyone happy to greet Yi to join my event chat group.

This afternoon, Yi has invited me to join her reunion dinner with some of my friends at Capital hotel next week. I didn't accept her invitation on spot because it cost $200 per person and I told Yi it is too expensive for me straight away.

Yi continued to invite other and hope can get 5 persons to go for 5 person menu. I know Yi and the other friend are looking forward to this reunion dinner at Capital hotel.

After thinking and thinking whether to buy a friendship at $200, I talked to Yi... if she finally is still lack of one person, I can join because I don't want her to be disappointed if her dinner have to cancel due to not enough people. I don't whether it is right or wrong but I always believe that the happiness of my friends is more important than money.

Went to CS Tay, Fragrance and Fassler at Woodlands Terrace.

For Fassler, need to enter via batches as it was quite crowded. The packs of salmon bones (800g), salmon heads (1kg) are selling at 99 cents each. Many were grabbing but I took none bec I dont know how to deal with them

Now my little freezer is filled to the brim. When I open its door, i have to be careful of "falling objects".

Prepared the ang pows.

We still haven't got the cny mood.. just like any usual days/weekends.

I helped dd wrapped few of her books this morning. Hope able to start to be more organised with them. This term weekend will be a little bit busier for kids. Weekdays need stayback few days. Actually quite siong arh to me I feel. But let's look at the bright side, it is abt the kids learning the time mgt tho many times I see chaos lol.

Today got a bit of surprise from dd2 Chi tutor..the preliminary assessment seems dd able to take the hcl challenge tho esp these 2 wks I was feeling worry if she could even survive 1 year of hcl.

Her Chi vocab considered quite bad even tho we speak Chi at home with mixed of Eng. I noticed she doesn't even know those simpler ones..the last that stuck in my mind was she asked what is 护照, passport. Before that was even more common word but I can't recall it now.

What tutor told me, I was very surprised and when I told my dd1, dd1 was laughing say mommy must be thinking if she really referring to 妹妹 lol. Let's keep our fingers

$200 kinda expensive to me too. Could be due to the max ppl allowed per table. Maybe if you reluctant then you help pass the msg around in group see if got 1 going to take up the slot?

Thank you MrsKiasu, the problem is: we have already posted in our group chat and it seems no one is confirmed to join us yet and therefore it is likely to be cancelled if I don't support the organiser "Yi". The restaurant is called "Famous Treasure" which is a high class restaurant.
