My daughters were joking last night that the weekend was longer than the week! Not sure if it's a good thing - surely we might get rather bored? Especially if we don't earn enough to pay for whatever we want to do in weekends.

I'm actually quite glad that the main CNY activities are over - I met so many groups of people for the first time since Covid that I'm really exhausted by all the interactions. It was nice to meet up, but I'm happy to get back to my quiet work again. I still have a couple more CNY gatherings over the next 2 weeks, but at least they're spread out!

dh & me are not the natural born "social-ble" type so really feel tired with all the talking, eating etc

We are also glad that things returning to normal. Managed to get the 2 to wear long skirts and daddy was so happy. A bit of Jam this morning as drizzling, as expected. Dd classmate went to JB and the jam was terrible.

Yes. Jam can be btwn 2-3 hours. We thot returning early wld help but the Q was alr very far & we cldnt see which line is the proper one until the traffic staff came directing us away & we were out of the Q. We were half the mind to book a hotel for stay but next day is sch day.

So decided to hv our dinner before returning to Q & this time round, we cleared under 1 hour coz we kept watching the Q carefully to be on the right lane, avoiding the extreme right lane coz that’s the bus lane. Avoid 4-5pm coz majority of buses scheduled to leave for SG that hour.
