On second thoughts, I guess I should discard my old ones since they are past expiry date. And I don't know who would use them now.
I don't think mosquito coil expires per se.

Ah... the smell of mosquito coil, reminds me of the old kampong, camping trips and reservist training. I don't think many people would like the smell to linger on, hence, better smelling bug spray or the tiger balm spray

Hope your mil recover soon. Luckily it's a mild one. She is taking panadol arh...could it be that she is having pain somewhere? My mom did mention she has some pain at bones/joints.

I was ah choo few times in a row, few times a day, which was not quite the usual..I was thinking if I should take vit c but then conveniently forgotten abt it.
Thank you for yr kind wishes for MIL. She said she was having abit of fever so took the panadol but I think she was too anxious or got mixed up with her other medications & took it at 4-hourly. I was taken aback. In fact, had been quite concern having her alone at home when BIL at work. Mentioned to DH & the extended family that we may hv to hv her stay with us for company or engage a helper. The latter might give us more headache. My helper hv been getting her elderly care training & just completed the full suite of Elderly Care course, so it shld come in handy.

I don't think so either, really, but there's an expiry date on the boxes. And I really have no use for them. When we need something to drive the bugs away, we use a citronella-smelling product. I think I'll leave the boxes of coils downstairs and let the cleaners or workers take them if they want to. I clean forgot I had them in the storeroom till star's post jogged my memory!

Lol. I don't even notice mosquitoes biting me. Not that I'm immune as I would notice some red marks (rarely though) and I had dengue before. I guess my blood doesn't appeal to most mozzies

Dds will inform if there is any mozzie, usually 1, coz it will go to them first. They then spray or rub citronella or lemongrass oil at few exposed places of body, closed all the bedroom doors and standby with the swatter. Most time able to kill.

During mozzie season or if there is any construction nearby, then important to turn over all the things that can collect water.

Yes last time we spray and close the door..but then i noticed somehow that doesn't really kill the mozzie, it kinda make them weak for a while, I will still wait till I kill it. We had mozzie in bedroom few times. Woke up middle of the night..must get it killed else tomorrow morning, the mozzie will have its breakfast.

Some blood will attract it more I find. Maybe your skin not that sensitive. When dd1 was younger, mozzie bites only will become big patch like allergy.
