I also have my me time when I go for holidays. I'm looking forward to early June and late November as I'm taking 2 holidays this year. Usually I go for 1 long and 1 short trip yearly. My students I usually give them one week break in June and 2 weeks break in November so that they enjoy their time off work and I get to go for my trips. Recharge and come back ready to work hard again.

Where do you go for your massage? I am in need of one.
i would like to try that hot stones massage...but very scared of therapists trying to hard sell packages while i am trying to relax and enjoy.
Hi, Ammonite and Janet.

I go to Lifespa for facial cum body massage, they used to be at Pacific plaza but now they moved to TripleOne at Somerset. They tend to hard sell a bit; that's why my package can never finish utilized cos always asked to top up :faint:

Another of my fav place is the Traditional Balinese Massage at Balmoral Plaza, their deep tissues massage is heavenly; ginger rub and hot stones are my favorite too. There is no hard sell at all here, the angmohs usually pay per visit; but if buy their store credits, the discount can be quite a saving.... eg. 60mins for $60 but if you pay by credit it would works out to be about $42. Quite worth it.

For foot massage I go to Footworks, the Orchard branch at International building, nice ambience. No hard sell too. Though they offer body massage too but I have not tried yet.

Have a blessed day, everyone. :grphug:

thanks ladies for all the replies. glad that most of you are having ME time.

maybe need advice on how to squeeze Me time out.

wkdays for me is 7am wake kids up for school/childcare, bring them there, then go to work. after work fetch them home let them have dinner which is mostly ard 7-8pm++ then bathe them and let them rest a while before gog to sleep at 9-10pm.

my kids are 2.5 and 5yo. got no car and no helper and no parents to help. both my wife and I are working.

the only time i can squeeze out is either i slp late (after kids slpt) or i wake up early like 5am to have my own ME time. but things that can be done are all limited as kids are sleeping.

wkends is kids time and their enrichment time and revision time. there are a little ME time when they are in classes for their enrichment. which I spent watching dramas. about 90mins.

can my situation squeeze anymore ME time?

we go to Body contours for massage. had a package there. sometimes hard sell are unavoidable but we rejected most of the time. we top up once since 2010. so far i m happy with their therapists....
