secretly and silently, am glad i hv yet to face dd's puppy love :D
secretly and silently, I dont mind dd being plump and not lady like
:rotflmao: Totally agree with you MKS! Now I want my kids to wear braces, thick glasses and be under the radar.

Fren's 12yo going on 13 is experiencing puppy love despite not doing well at the PSLE... fren is very very worried. She has to resort to checking her dd's texts to the boy in the middle of the night. Told me she doesn't know how to react to the situation. Object = dd may keep secrets next time... Don't object = means accept?

Oh puppy love now? Interesting stage for them but worrying stage stage for us..

But so sweet Janet, yr dd telling you all these? I m not sure if dd1 will tell me next time lor.
well, it has to be puppy love at 15. I know what it is and how it feels. gosh, I was 9 when I first experienced it
daughter told me about it. this is why I am feeling more stressed on top of her going on to sec 4. I'm trying to take the 'puppy love' thing with a pinch of salt. indirectly I told my son it's advisable to focus on his studies FIRST because being in love means grades will drop...on cloud 9, one won't be able to focus. if there is a quarrel, WORSE! so I guess she got the hint. it was killing 2 birds with one stone.

For now my sec 1s don’t hv this issue as there is no chance to meet boys next door. For my sec 3, because she trains in a club and competes outside oh yes many boys lol....I think she has crushes and vice versa but she knows better to focus on studies (at least that’s what I like to think).......
For me lol, hubby says I am a bad example to lead since I was a paikia when young....

puppy love is really a BG friendship, right?
Not same as crushes which is just 1 sided.

meaning both sides need to be aware of the special feelings? Now I always tell my dds from one of members sharing, the gal asked the boy if can become boy/girlfriend but boy in return told the girl to focus on her studies..woah I like

We encountered electrical blackout at home this morning. Checked own circuit box, nothing has tripped. So it was due to external power station somewhere.

This kind of blackouts used to be common when I was young. Nowadays backup technology at the power stations must have improved, this encounter is like once in 10 years. My son was like swaku, first blackout experience in his life lol.

Try blowing a fan at them, or a hair dryer? That's one of the uses of my tumble dryer.
