Govt trying to push more people to buy EVs. The new Tesla looks soooo good and fast, not to mention the extra luggage space in front where the traditional engine has been removed. The problem now is charging stations. I saw the blurb for one upcoming condo launch, only ONE miserly charging station for the entire condo??!
OMG, Petrol went up again yesterday?!

I pumped full tank on 16th Feb at $2.53/L
On 17th Feb it went up 15cents to $2.68/L and up again another 7cents yesterday to $2.74/L ! :yikes:

Maybe give chicken wing so it’s time to take back whole chicken?

The infrastructure for EVs not ready yet, not enough charging points. There must be a transition period so hybrid cars should be the way to go. EVs maybe 30% less power efficient compared to cars on petrol.

To reduce carbon emissions, I read some suggestions like we might as well remove 92 and 95 petrol, just keep 98. 98 not just better for the engine, also better for the environment. As it is, if I find 98 petrol expensive, I can downgrade to 95 or 92, unlikely I will dispose my car to go car lite
I haven't pump petrol since announcement ..omg so much of increase :faint: ..and the chicken wing & whole chicken :rotflmao:
hahahhaha... mrs ks is 40L tank, mine current is ..

one yr COE is $40000 / 10yrs / 365 days = $10.95 cents COE per day !!! dunno hahahd or not... so if u save $10 a day - 10yrs u get $40000 savings - :scratchhead: go decide to drive or not ...

Feeling overbloated fr last nite’s haidilao @ 313.

Too much of beef, pork & lamb meat. Shld’ve dip more in vinaigrette, but I was too carried away with the sesame/peanut dip.

The mahla was bearable but my family frds didn’t find it mahla (spicy) enuf. The Laksa stock was overly diluted no kick. I rather like the tomato soup base & the chicken stock but was below my expectations. Thot they shld’ve put in more tonic herbs. No herb taste. But tastier after we dump in the fish head & tail (有头有尾)after we wipe up all the fish slices.

Will arrange to do a Laksa meal for my frd to I traduce them to the real deal. Hope this family assimilate well into Spore.

We ate kfc yesterday. Today continue with danggui duck (partial) and a steamed chicken. Eating with Chinese lettuce as wrap. Dd1 says wrap is not so nice with duck so today got her the steamed chicken to wrap and dip in her favourite garlic oil. Cny celebration very muted this year. Gal have assessments..I have class and deadlines.. and this morning only I realised next week is Mar already  and here I m forgotten that dd's dismissal hr is later on Monday haiz..wait la.

Ya. Just 2 weeks back after visiting the young boy who demised, was very touched by the parents putting up all the pics of his childhood. So similar.

Every parent hold our children dear to our hearts & takes up responsibilities to develop & provide enjoyable experiences fr very young age.
I asked DS what he rmbrs of his childhood. Was thankful he rmbrd many of his childhood - ppl, places & activities we had together. He recalled how we involved him in a mission trip together getting him to help pump balloons & DH twisted it to represents a monkey climbing up a coconut tree. He said he rmbrd the song he sang for the orphanage. Can’t help thinking of other parents & their hoys & heartbreaks.

Hope our kids all grow up & pray for their health & happiness.
