May I ask anybody has a mini freezer (not fridge) at home? Is yours a chest type or open from the top type? What is the brand bec I hardly see the popular brands selling mini freezers?

Did a rough but couldn't find the freezer order..mine is Midea, hip height..so far so good. Just buy the one with promo.

Mine is top open. I think top open can put more things. Unless your space is under a table top etc then front door will be better.

Dd feel like eating pickled green chillies. Went to 2 ntuc but no stock.. googled and it is easy to make. Vinegar/salt/sugar+fresh chillies. Next time you all can make and keep.

Back to baking on alternate days.

Don’t give up MKS. Get the right soil, sun & fert. Chilli plant must pinch at the tip. Don’t use scissors to cut. Chilli fruit also pinch. Pinching will give u continuous fruits.

I have a 0% success rate with growing plants. One daughter says she's interested, but no action yet! One neighbour grew some herbs which did well for a while, then died - not sure why! They have now planted more and they seem to be doing well. I have permission to help myself, so I occasionally do.

Didnt know that. I just googled. Ok, we have a pot with a plant about 7cm tall..dd2 been taking care of it.. we were guessing either tomato or chilli plant. I just googled, it is a tomato plant

Ok we shall google how to plant chilli next. Won't plant too much. I bought organic soil and some fertiliser earlier on. And abt 2 wks ago, I saw ants in the pot and put ant bait powder dunno if can or not.

Slmkhoo, your dd can try.. My mom and sis are planting veg too and they have much more to share about now.

Planting/gardening maybe good to take away the full focus on the current situation.. thinking back now..my mom been following covid news so closely that she is the one providing updates to us. I remembered telling her not to be into it so much as it will make us age faster without knowing it.. looks like good to be reminded to take away the focus..
