Ya lah, nowadays, always hack here hack there.
I always hear so and so WhatsApp account being hacked too.

We just checked our CC account and no unauthorized transactions. Have been living in fear for past few days. We not only entered CC number but also the 3-digit CVC as well. DH said very difficult to cancel this card as many monthly payments connected to this card.

Oh...my God, they also have your CVC digit...then they can make any online shopping using your CC.

My OCBC CC was cancelled by the bank due to some misunderstanding between me and the teller in Aug 21. They have re-issued a new CC for me and I have to inform those payment connected to my original CC the new CC number. It can be done.

You shld still contact the bank immediately as they can suspend yr account & channel all yr regular pymts w/o hiccups. They shld hv a way to run parallel card activities whilst barring new transactions fr the date u report o’wise culprits may funnel new outgoing pymts using ur acct. Check with bank immediately w/o delay coz every seconds counts.

Yes I would call the bank and tell them about the matter. (The fake link and that I have entered my cc details) So that they can monitor my card activities, cancel or suspend my card, transfers the auto payments to another new card. To be on the safe side.

For me, cancelling a credit card is an easier task compared to cleaning the phone from malware :gloomy: I prefer losing my IC than losing my phone!

It's a pain to clean up the phone, but I'm a nerd, and don't mind it so much. I've installed and uninstalled so many computer systems/phones etc that I've lost count. I still remember when I first started installing linux, it was using diskettes and there were like 30-40 of them that I have to dutifully swap in and out (*yawn*) Nowadays reinstalling phones are much easier and relatively painless as most of our data is in the cloud, but for lee_yl's case, that becomes a problem because we don't know what was installed or if it has already gone out sniffing her data in the cloud...

I think it is better to bite the bullet and
0. Report your card is stolen (very important to do so as to prevent any financial disputes that might arise)
1. Reset your phone.
2. Change all the passwords to your financial accounts using a different phone/computer.
3. Slowly reinstall applications one by one to your phone. Do not use the restore phone option as we do not know if the culprits have already gotten into your phone's software!

Please do not think that if your account seems fine now, it is ok. The hackers may be waiting to lull you into complacency before they strike.

As for passwords, always use a different password for your accounts. I use a secure password manager to record down the passwords I use, so I only need to remember 1 password to the secure manager.

Hello Pegasus, my dd is going on to P5 next year too. Her Chinese (our school only has HCL up till P4) is the strongest subject by far, & her weakest is Maths

Laughingcat's kids are/will be in IP schools, with the younger DSA-ing into one this AL Psle, & this is her sharing:-

I'm sorry, but I haven't read through those pages myself, though I understand that she has shared about all 4 subjects. Perhaps they will give you some ideas

After placed order for a Samsung Tab and tried used my old Tabpro to read a little bit.. I feel abit regret.

Anyone find the screen kinda 'too reflective and glaring' to eyes? I looked at my hp not as bad. Hope the new one is better when received. I was thinking of getting another one for another dd coz screen is bigger than her ipad..now I think I better look at laptop instead.
