I used to see them at Botanical Gardens a few years back.. They seemed like a perfect family - handsome daddy, pretty mummy and beautiful kids.. But..

What about James Lye & Diana Ser.. Are they still together? Not much news about them..

When I got married, my dad gave me 3 advices:

1) no matter how successful you are at work, you must be a kitten at home
2) do not nag your husband
3) be respectful (give him face) to your husband in front of his family.

I think my dad talked from his own experiences with my mum. :rotflmao:

although im only married for 2 yrs, i feel that trust and communication is very important to keep a marriage strong. without trust, there may be restrictions when you want to go out or talk to the opposite sex. how can u survive without communication in a relationship? imagine your wife or hubby just goes to sleep after returning home very late cos feeling very tired or they can just play games the whole day during weekends? if your spouse needs to work OT, u still can communicate thru your mobile phone or face-to-face in the morning. we also can talk abt our children. no matter what, we should try make an effort to communicate. having a good financial foundation is also important so we dun always quarrel cos of money. you can consider opening a joint account for daily needs or using it to save money for rainy days.
