Please help,, i saw this remark on my DH wassup to his friend ( an old man ) me and my DH we are in our late 30s,,now my DH has diabetes so with his strict diet ,,he has become skinny and looks very young, whereas I have become voluptuous and chubby.

Now I saw that he SMS to his friend, that when we were teenagers, we both looked very young ,but now I look like his sister…

can anyone tell me what he means by that ? I felt very upset. but i nvr told him that i saw the wassup message

voluptuous ok but chubby a (gentle) no no.

If can't lose weight, then try not to dress like aunty, get a new hairdo that make you look younger, go easy on makeup or put on some makeup, also not to behave like a mother with hubby....

Guys are like that, once they lose some weight, look trim and young, will start to make comments.

I :spank: :nunchuk: dh a few times already....

the concern is late 30s to get diabetes is too young to get it!

lifestyle must change

1) go for a haircut...you will feel good too.
2) change your dressing...apply lipstick, put on perfume. BE different.
3) try to cut down carbo intake during dinner.
4) don't nag at him...close 2 eyes at times.

I think I would be more concerned about my health and make sure that I do not get diabetes and other chronic diseases in my 30s. At the same time, ensure hubby controls his diet well.

Eat healthily, exercise regularly, take care of your mental health and you will look good!

I think it is very insensitive of him to make such comments. He could have suggested that u join him for exercise or dress up to cover imperfect areas etc..

Mine would bring me for exercise whenever I slack.. Many years ago I lost 9kg within 6 months when I remove carbo from my diet.. I just had lots of lean meat, vege and fruits.. Maybe u can try the diet.. Stay far far away from sweet drinks.. They are the fastest way to put on weight..

I just gave birth and I'm almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight.. Just one more kg to lose.. You can do it too!

I have a question too.. How come u checked his watsapp message?

Agree with Janet.

Don't be so upset by it. He didn't say it to you. Just quietly update your looks and start a healthier lifestyle. Partners influence each other. I started making time to exercise again because of DH's influence, and he started a skincare regime because of my influence. We don't criticize each other, just observing the improvement in each other is enough motivation. I will ask him for exercise tips and he will ask me to go and buy scrub with him. It is also a good example for our kids.
