Hi parents,

Not sure if anyone has similar experience. I'm posting on behalf of a friend who has limited internet access. She is a middle aged lady who takes care of her brother's child since birth. Her brother and SIL paid for child expenses but rarely take care of the child. She treated the child as her own. Her brother and SIL marriage is on the rock, does the lady has the rights to child custody or guardianship when her brother and SIL divorced?
