Hi, if you immerse peeled garlic in cooking oil, the jar keeps long in the fridge & you get fragrant oil.

There's a risk of botulism, though. Google on this and read all the warnings!

How to store garlic for a longer period?
Mine starts sprouting quite soon. I tried putting it in the fridge or a dark corner but doesn't seem to help.
Thank you.
You must have left them unused for a long time?
I seldom cook so my garlic and onion can be left there for quite a while...maybe even more than 1 month. But I don't see them sprouting

i can put seo bak in fridge for long, n still ok ,bought few days b4 cny n store/eat till end cny
but my mil fridge ( those tall slim, but 4 door/drawers type) maybe she din turn on cold so the seo bak turn sour 2 days later ... wasted :(

I think how fast the food turns bad in the fridge depends how long it was kept in room temp after being cooked and how it was handled prior to storing in the fridge.

Made some Green Beef Curry last night using this recipe https://www.womensweekly.com.sg/recipe/ ... eef-curry/. You can make double, freeze half without veggies, coriander and sauces. Add after reheating.
