Hi,

Just wondering how much you spend on family dining out meals monthly ? I just made a rough calculation, it's about $300 per month.

for us, it's about $800 if we consider birthday months as well - and Father's Day coming up too!

Average around $800-$1000. My credit card bills almost 90% are for dinning out. This month due to school holiday, sure to exceed the $1000mark.... just yesterday, lunch at Marche & dinner at Crystal Jade were $270. Today, breakfast at Swensen $50, another $50 for picnic lunch *ownself prepared*, and dinner at Casa Verde @ Botanic Gardens about $100.

wow, $1000 mark, if that is a benchmark, i am a stingy type.....

My family, four of us, but sometime my sisters or my MIL will joined us. I'm also stingy type, I only spend on food and my kids. And that's all I spent on every month, like I say, 90% of my credit card bills are from dinning out with family.

I don't even dare to think about this... somemore the grocery bills and all the household expenses...



money really very small these days. harder and harder to save!

I guess it boils down to (1) how often one dines out each month and (2) where one dines out.

Yup.. if always eat at restaurant, of course expensive.....

Nowadays, at least $20 if eat fast food for 3 persons... wow.. a slide of cake only can cost few dollars....

On average, about $800 - 1000 per mth. We tend to eat out on weekends. And when we eat out it is usually at some restaurant so not cheap for 3 adults and 2 kids. A dessert treat at an ice-cream palor oredi add up to $50+.

$400 to 500 per mth on average. assuming $50-$70 per meal, twice a week. of course, i try to restrict at most 2 restaurant meals per weekend, not counting the other cheaper meals we have at coffee shops/ food courts. nowadays, a simple food court meal for three pple, including drinks, can cost $20.
