Ban Mian / Mee Hoon Kway

Postby hapydino » Wed Nov 03, 2010 10:27 am

Hi all,

can share where to find nice ban mian / mee hoon kway??

mee hoon kway is my personal favourite but its getting increasingly challenging to find a stall that sells nice, thin, smooth mee hoon kway which doesn't stick together = end up biting into a pile of kway with the centres uncooked..

my favourite is @ Blk 154 Serangoon North Avenue 1 but a bit out of the way for a friend so asking where else sells good ban mian / mee hoon kway so i can introduce this to her..

thanks in advance!!

I don't usually go to a particular place for ban mian, but I do look out for Qiu Lian ban mian because I think their ban mian is one of the tastiest around, with good chilli sauce to go with it.

Mummy hapydino,

I love ban mian :D

My favorite is from a stall that used to be at Sim Lim.
Now they have moved to the 2nd floor canteen of Bishan Bus Interchange.
The chili is BEST and the soup is yummy.
No clumpy mee hoon kway :D

Tampines 1 foodcourt (5th level?) has pretty good ban mian. They also have a special dry type that my colleague likes.
