Please pardon me if I sound suaku (because I am one! ), but this past weekend
was the first time I tried baumkuchen, and I simply must rave about it!

Don't think I have ever tasted cakes so yummy!
Mind you...in our family, none of us has sweet tooth, but we just simply can't get enough of this!
The thought of it is enough to make me salivate!

If you happen to be at Takashimaya, you just have to get one to try for yourself!
The store is located on B2, and is called Juchheim, named after the German who introduced baumkuchen to Japan,
and the company had been in business since 1909!

Give it a try! I'm sure you will like it!
And if you don't, PM me and I will gladly finish the leftovers for you!!

Okie, this thurs after dropping DS off at Berries at Pacific Plaza, will waddle down slowly to Taka and give this a try , then will feedback

This cake shop was recommended by a friend, who loves the cakes from this shop very much.

I've seen them featured on channel 8 once, last year I think.
I've only tried the pies from them. It's hard to get the cakes there, selling very fast.
