Food dehydrator

Postby carebear » Tue Jun 21, 2011 11:24 am

Was thinking of getting a food dehydrator to dry fruits for healthier snacks. Any reviews on the brands and where to get it. The excalibur food dehydrator seems good except for its price.
TIA.

Will the dehydrated fruits turn out very crispy or hard? Bought some dehydrated banana, very crispy but very very expensive. Would be good if the dehydrator can produce similiar results.
