nearly spit out the first mouthful becasue the chilli sauce was sweet

this is not the first time i had sweet chilli sauce with noodles :faint: . what happen to the good old hot chilli? if it isnt sweet, it is too diluted.

i know chilli is expensive but ...................

fell off my chair when I read your post :rotflmao:

This was at a food court?

nowadays, people can't be bothered to match the food with the "correct chilli" and we have to so spoilt by the varieties of chilli options provided before..

That will totally get me in a baaaaaddd mood. Don't mess with my food and my chilli.

I totally get what you mean LOLmum. Worse still if they add tomato ketchup to my bak chor mee.

These days really hard to find stalls with good chilli. Sometimes I'd rather ask for gan lao and dump in lots of chilli padi and soya sauce.

Was telling my mum the other day, think the next 'dun leave home without it' item, aside from wet wipes, handphone and atm card, will be a bottle of home made sambal.

I love Lingham's Chilli Sauce. It has a very unique taste and really spicy. I tried it when someone gave me a bottle of it, but I can't seem to find it in Fairprice Finest and Cold Storage.
