You may want to mash it up?
For my girl she hates carrots so i mash it up in the soup and she doesn't reject it.
Maybe you want to try that out.
Hope this tip helps.

This fussy with food case was mentioned in Daddy 101 TV prog on Ch 8. The psychologist said the kid is very sensitive to textures. So she advised the parents to blend the veggies. However, the kid still refused to take the blended veggies as he could smell it. The parents did not blend all the food together. They only blended the veggies and tried to give it with plain rice and chicken pieces.

IMHO, think they need to blend the chicken and veggies together and mix with the soup and rice, like a porridge. I did that for my gal as she didn't like meat pieces and she had no problems taking the blended porridge.

Another thing I observed was the parents tried too much to follow what child experts say by not letting the kid watch TV while eating. I find that if my kid is not watching TV, she will pay too much attention to what I am giving her and will refuse meat, carrots etc. When she watches TV, she just eats what I put in her mouth. I dun care what experts say but this works for me.

Another thing I must ask is whether your kid is attending childcare? If she is, she will start to emulate the older kids there and take the meat and veggies as given. When my gal first started childcare, I had to bring my own blended porridge as she refused to eat the chunky meat and veggies they provided. After 2 months there, she became less fussy about meat chunks. I have stopped blending her food already. The teachers even told me she enjoys her meals very much. Thank God!
