Read so many people buying the Happy Call Pan from G Market....

So curious , went to Gmarket to see see look look...

Found this KitchenArt...
Double sided pressure pan/grill pan/made by Korea

It is very similar to Happy Call Pan....

And the information given is better than Happy Call Pan....

The Pan is detachable and Silcon Seal free....

So I surfed more information...found this Double Sided Pressure Pan on sale...
Almost half price of Happy Call Pan....

So I placed order....now waiting to get the goods ....
I suppose will take about 2-3 weeks....

Yes, I have received the Pan last week...
Postage took less than 2 weeks to arive..

Very nice just like the one in the picture....

Today lunch , I tried cooking slice fish...quite fast....
Never flip so do not know about leaking...

But I observe the groove to seal the pans are quite deep, so should not leak....

Anyway , I feel it is better for cooking gadgets to be silcon free during long term usage.

Furthermore , the Pan is detachable ...better than HappyCall which is not...

Tonite I will cook sea cucumber with broccoli...I will try to flip to see if it will leak....

Anyway , I was quite lucky to purchase this pan at SGD40 only ...now the price is equivalent to HappyCall at SGD69....

I bought this Pan through G Market.... there are so many sellers in G MArket...must have the patient to survey....compare the discounts and free gifts...

This Pan because the Price is 50% off ...so no free gifts...lor...

I am considering this pan because like you, I am not comfortable with the silicon in HappyCall.

I took a look at it and there are two pans advertised. One is red and the other is brown. Which one did you purchase?? What are their differences??

Does the pan leak when you flip over?? I read in one of the reviews that it does.

The detactable pan you quote above I believe is the earlier version of Happycall pan. I had it 2yrs ago (mine a different brand) and I find it very difficult to wash as it gets very oily even without oil. Any improvement on that? I still have it but using Happycall pan more these days.

Correct me if I'm wrong. The silicon seal does not come in contact with food so it should be ok right? Anyway, any bad effects on silicon cooking? Alot of cooking equipments and bakeware are made of silicon these days, do they also contain "BPA" (actually, I don't know what is this) but I've seen lots of plastic containers claimed without them.

Yes, it does but if you are quick in flipping eg. frying Saba fish, it should not be an issue. Nothing "soupy".

The pan is very much lighter than Happycall.

Hi

I've gotten my Kitchen Art double sided pan already.
Fried omelette, salmon and steak with it and the food were delicious.
Just a bit of leakage but it does make cooking and cleaning up much much easier versus conventional cooking utensils . Most importantly the house does not smell of food after cooking.
I chose this instead of the happy call ones, mainly because it does not use silicon seal which means I do not have to buy the seal once it's worn. I don't know about the health implications though.
