Postby match3frog » Sun Feb 03, 2013 2:51 pm

Anybody knows where to buy good fish dumpling and Fuzhou balls ( with meat fillings) for steamboat?? Not looking for the frozen kind in supermarket. Any place or market known for its hand made fish dumplings or Fuzhou Balls?

TIA

Hi Nebbermind and New Doggy, I realised both of you might be referring to the same place. Seow Choon Hua is around Arab St area

Nebbermind, fish dumpling in chinese is 鱼饺. I hope I got the chinese word correct

Taman Sentosa (JB) wet market has a fishball stall selling fresh fuzhou fishball. My aunt bought it from there before. Taste quite good.

There's meat inside the Fuzhou balls. Some pork, some chicken.
