Fish Dumpling & Fuzhou Balls

Anybody knows where to buy good fish dumpling and Fuzhou balls ( with meat fillings) for steamboat?? Not looking for the frozen kind in supermarket. Any place or market known for its hand made fish dumplings or Fuzhou Balls?

not sure what is fish dumpling but you can get authemtic fuzhou fishball somewhere near Arab St. Sorry cannot remember the name but probably can google it easily.

Hi Nebbermind and New Doggy, I realised both of you might be referring to the same place. Seow Choon Hua is around Arab St area :smile:

Nebbermind, fish dumpling in chinese is 鱼饺. I hope I got the chinese word correct :lol:

Taman Sentosa (JB) wet market has a fishball stall selling fresh fuzhou fishball. My aunt bought it from there before. Taste quite good.

There's meat inside the Fuzhou balls. Some pork, some chicken.

Customs is not going to break open the balls to examine. It looks like fishballs, tell them its fishballs. :wink:
