Where to buy food thermometer? Please recommend a brand. I see this Taylor brand but the online stores do not ship to Singapore. I am looking for an instant read one with long probe to insert into liquid or meat. TIA

Thks for link, Nebbermind. Don't seem to have the type I am looking for. Also many of their models have zero stock for SG. Some has very high temp which I don't need. Max around 250 deg is good enough for me.

I will check out ISETAN/Robinson.

Thanks to all!

osim, just go Tott's. They have what you're looking for. Think price is <$50. Phoon Huat has a couple of models too.

Rs and element14 things aren't cheap but they have all sorts of gadgets way before eBay.
Better go to tott (have always been wondering what they sell) then!

What is tott?

Yes, those from element4 were very expensive. Actually, there are some China sites selling for USD5 digital pen type, free shipping. Look decent but the price tells the quality. I just hope to get a decent one that won't fail for at least a couple of years, so I give those a pass.
