For a long while, I have not gone to Sakon Thai but decided to try it out again yesterday.

I am pleasantly surprised that both service n food portions have improved.

Business is very good n always crowded.

I love hot spicy food and when dining it westernized restaurants in Patong I asked for Thai Hot food and to this day have not come across a level of hot spicy that was too hot for me. By the same token I have seen my wife just about go into convulsions after tasting mine so if your not a hot spicy person start with milder styles like Massaman Curry or Cashew Nut stir fry or one of the many of the other non spiced meals available in Thailand. :D

My fave Thai food is Thai basil chicken. You just can't go wrong with that.

Thai food is lovely and most people I know love it. Its not too spicy at all, although some dishes will be. The type of dishes you might get will be rice dishes or noodle dishes.
