Places for afternoon tea on weekdays?

I'm going to take my mum out for afternoon tea one day next week in lieu of Mother's Day as we are too busy over the weekend. We would like somewhere quiet and peaceful. Can anyone suggest a place for a traditional English-type afternoon tea and scones? I'm very out of touch! Thanks!

You can try TWG. They have branches at ION, Taka and MBS.

Any budget, slmkhoo?

We like the english high tea, buffet style, at Goodwood Park.

Thanks! You are fast! Not sure what my budget is - what's the range? Since both of us don't eat much and are usually watching our diets, quantity of food is not so important.
