Want a healthier version of claypot rice without all the chao tar bits? And the rice is not shrivelled n hard either. Try the claypot fun at the playground@bigsplash.

Be warned though, they don come with dark sauce. We've tried both the sausage and the salted fish/minced port. Both are

The liver is also to-die-for, tender n deliiiiiciously yummmmmy, but eat it while hot or it'll turn hard real fast.

Tried this last weekend.
The rice quite delicious n there were burnt bits at bottom of claypot.
The Chinese sausage n waxed pork very tasty, not so with the chicken which tasted quite bland.
We tried the kiam chye ark and lotus/老王瓜 soups - OK only la.

yes, it's there between the jap ramen n 7-11. And it's called old town white coffee. their nasi rendang is fantastic, i like their kaya/butter toast and penang laksa too. Still prefer ah kun's coffee to their nanyang coffee though. parking here is free before 5pm on weekdays.

i'm sure you're joking. you do know that too much char tar stuff is bad for your health as in the blackened bits are actually carbon and reported to cause cancer.

I'm not. All who truly know their claypot would agree with me too. Check makansutra for example. Anyway, claypot burnt rice aren;t supposed to be charcoal black but charred.

agreed with you on their coffee. Tasted once, never ever will i go back there again for coffee. Their coffee may be popular to some, but it is not my cup of 'coffee' ... too diluted and too milky for my taste.
