Bento / Recess Packs

Do you prepare / pack food for your spouse and children?

Come share your bento and recess packs for our inspiration.

I'll start the ball rolling..

Spaghetti with panko crusted meatballs and grapes for recess today!

This is a Tupperware lunch box. Comes with divider, spoon and fork. Great for cold food or warm ones. There's a rubber stopper for steam to escape in case there wasn't sufficient cooling time at the point of packing.

PS. I'm not a Tupperware agent.

My problem is DS refuses to carry a separate lunch bag and on CCA days really not possible to carry a lunch bag along with his soccer bag and ball and art bag. So need a container that is spill proof and narrow enough to go into his schoolbag.

Hi buds, what things to note when making bento/recess packs that can last till lunch or recess time without the food turning bad? How to keep the food warm?

So far never dare to make one that is to be kept for hours before consumption :nailbite:
