Palm View Primary

There's nothing quite like being able to discuss issues and network with other parents with children in the same school as yours. Individual Schools' Official Parent Support Groups are welcome to come in and help out the incoming groups of parents.

Hi everyone,

I am a long time lurker and my first time posting.

My kid was not successful in the ballot for Hougang Primary which is just three blocks away from my home and it is unfortunate. :stupid:

I am now looking at Palm View Primary which is between 1km and 2km for me. From what I had seen for 2017 statistics, it should be safe. Do anyone have the statistics for 2018 applications?

:? All fly to Anchor Green pri sch. The bus stop just next to the school.

Palm View Pri high chance already.
46 slots, 28 apply.
I think due to the 3 yrs construction next to it deter parent applying it. :boogie:

Latest from centre

28 applicants
15 is within 1km
12 + 1 is within 1 to 2km

From 9 to 10am, there are like 4 + 4 people registering

Probably not the smartest idea for people > 1km to apply
Why would anyone risk balloting in Phase 2CS?

Well considering 46 vacancies, and only 28 applicant after cut off of Internet registration, good chance for 2cs

Just have to bear with 3 yrs of construction and will enjoy decades of convenience! Hehe

Hate balloting...
Yesterday went to the school to see see look look. The after school care slot very limited... Overall school environment good. Less than 5 mins walk from buangkok mrt shelter all the way due to the construction side. So less worry on sunshine and rain.
