Mayflower Primary

There's nothing quite like being able to discuss issues and network with other parents with children in the same school as yours. Individual Schools' Official Parent Support Groups are welcome to come in and help out the incoming groups of parents.

Understand that they had a NEW principal this year. Wonder if anyone had any experience who like like to share about her.

My girl will be primary one next year. The school principal is Mrs Valerie Wilson and she was a vice-principal of ACJC. According to a friend who knows her, she is good principal.

Hi,

Her class is 1F. Let's keep in touch and share with each other as we journey with them.

Cheers.

Hi hi
sure! Mmm..just wondering if you have any idea how come they were asked to complete some Maths questions during the orientation? I hope it is not a kind of assessing them. :O

Hi,

Frankly, I'm also not sure. I heard of schools which tested the primary one students during orientation for "streaming" purposes but some parents were upset with this practice.

Since Mayflower has already assigned the class, I'm not bothered by it. However, will check with her form teacher when school starts.
