Fairfield Methodist Primary

There's nothing quite like being able to discuss issues and network with other parents with children in the same school as yours. Individual Schools' Official Parent Support Groups are welcome to come in and help out the incoming groups of parents.

Hi baggabunny,
Is there any interview for those applying for PV?

Anyone know how did Fairfield fare in the 2012 PSLE? I heard that more than 20% score 250 and above. Is it true?

ranking of Primary school PSLE results can be found @ http://schooloftutors.com/blog/psle-2012-results/
The highest point is Nanyang Primary 285
I think Fairfield highest score is 271
There are 9 Primary schools with 280 and above.

Thanks for your reply.
I am not that interested in the top scorer of the schools, as I suspect that for some schools the top scorer is an outlier and is not truly reflective of the overall performance of the school.

I read somewhere that those with PSLE scores above 250 are among the top 10% nationwide and last year there are only 15 schools with more than 20% of its students scoring 250 and above. If Fairfield is one of the 15 schools that's very good result.

Hi,

My girl is going to FMPS next year. I heard school hours are from 730am-110pm.

We'll probably confirm that during orientation in Nov.

regards,
Michael
